You still haven't said if you know when you're going to be leaving the city.

I know you probably just don't know yet but it's hard not to think about when Carmen comes looking for you so much. What's going to happen when she comes by and you're not even in the city?

It isn't fair.

Karia's trying to keep me out of everything going on with Carmen. I've asked her a lot if I can do something to make her go away, but Karia just always says it's her problem and she doesn't want me to get involved. I've told her I'll be okay but she doesn't listen.

I don't think she realizes how dangerous Carmen is. If she really did all of that to Leslie, then Karia can't afford to push me out of this. Isn't that right? I think that's right.

She acts like it's okay that Carmen won't leave her alone. Doesn't it even bother her that she's always around being annoying? Doesn't she think it's suspicious at all like Casey noticed? After what happened with Leslie I thought Karia would understand she can't trust anybody.

Carmen's not going to let Karia leave with Casey if she can help it. She's going to find some way to keep Karia here and make her do what she wants. I can't let that happen. I'd rather work for her then make Karia do anything like that. If that's what it takes, I'll do it.

Do you think if you told Carmen that I'd work for her instead that maybe she'd finally stop bothering you and Mom all the time? She came by again today and she and Mom had a big argument. I just want her to go away. If it makes her leave you and Mom alone I'll do whatever she wants.

Do you think all of you are really going to be leaving Norey soon? It doesn't seem like you've been here that long to me but I guess maybe it's a lot longer on the business side of things.

I really wish it'd stop raining already!! I think most people have gotten used to it but it's still kind of depressing. And I still get soaked whenever I go out to pick anything up for Mom. I think everybody's just putting up with it now instead of complaining, but I still wish it'd stop.

Are you and Casey gonna come out for dinner again soon Karia?? It's been a while is all. I think we all miss you here.

I don't think we should tell Karia about this but I found a note from Carmen for her when I got back from getting groceries. Mom was busy so I don't think she saw it either. But it's more of the same stuff. Only it says some things like "I know you'll regret it if you don't come back to the business" and "this is what you wre meant to do" and other stuff.

I really wish she'd go away.

Casey!

I don't think Karia is going to tell you about this but I heard Carmen talking to her yesterday. She was giving Karia a really hard time and telling her that she should just really reconsider and everything. Mom wasn't home so she doesn't know about this either but since she wasn't there to stop Carmen, she was really determined and was offering all sorts of stuff for Karia to go back to working for her.

I don't think Karia's going to do it but it's still kind of fishy, isn't it?

She came to the house again and she and Mom are having a big argument. If you're busy I can find something to do but I thought maybe we could go do something together while this is happening maybe??

What did everyone think of Mom's dinner?? Isn't she the best cook?? I told everybody she is!! We should eat together like that more often. IT was really nice to have a big full table again, since it's been such a long time!!

Ugh, it's pouring outside!!

I just got home from the market and all the groceries I picked up for Mom are soaking wet. I hope nothing got ruined. I don't really want to go out in that again. My clothes are all drenched!!

I guess it's just going to get worse now since it's spring and everything but it's really really wet and it's loud, too. I hate it so much when it rains. It's all just awful.

Mom said I should invite the two of you over for dinner tomorrow if you want to come! She's making a big meal because it's almost Dad's birthday and she wanted to do something special before she had to take any jobs or anything. So she told me I should write and ask you if you guys wanted to come!

She said you can bring other people if you want but just say how many so she knows how much food she has to make!

I don't know why you got me a new book. I wasn't ever even using the last one I had. You really didn't have to get me a new one. I guess it makes things easier

Are you and Casey going to come to dinner again soon? You should come. Mom and Dad were really glad to see you. Mom said she wants to talk over everything that happened again, too, in case you forgot anything before and remembered it now. You should come. Mom said you can even come without letting her know and she won't mind.

It's Wednesday and I have a question.

Everybody gets mad sometimes. I really try not to but sometimes things are just so awful and I don't want to -- to deal with it anymore. It's hard. So I just go out walking sometimes, just by myself. I'm older now so it's okay for me to do that, even though my Mom gets upset about it still. She worries a lot.

What does everybody else do when they're upset? To make themselves feel better I mean. I can't think of anything besides what I'm already doing. But I bet not everybody does it.

Good. I'm grown up now. I don't need her to take care of me anymore. I can take care of everyone by myself. I can take care of Ma Mom and make sure P Dad gets better. I can do it on my own.
